One question: Images? Where to get them? Let's say an ad campaign for a fashion company, as you mentioned. Where would you get pictures from? You can't use from their website, because pictures are a main part of a campaign and at this point, you just copy the old campaigns. Also you can't use their pictures on your own website portfolio.

A quick one I love is design a simple postage stamp for your hometown or cities you've visited

Another portfolio idea: Title cards for your favourite movies/short films/music videos/tv shows! You could even experiment with motion graphics for a short opening credits scene

An idea that maybe for someone who is more illustration centered could be tarot cards! or going for a new theme of cards for the game magic! you could play with the name of the tarot cards, also play with the description on each magic card, the colors, etc. Also making a stationary branding could be really fun! from making sticky notes, or envelopes, etc.

your video made me feel less scared in starting my portfolio, I am ready to find a job in what I studied, but got scared in where to start and how, so this video really helped me in structuring my ideas, and gave me new ones, plus feeling less nervous in starting. Thank you Paola!

Do they have to be an actual commission from a business to be featured on my portfolio, or can I use/rebrand any business of my choosing.
